Childrens Department Requirements

Any person who works in the children's department must meet the following requirements:

1. Must be in agreement with the statements of faith here at FCOP.
2. Be a member of FCOP or be in the membership process.
3. Be able to make a minimum of a six month commitment.
4. Complete a Children's Worker Application.
5. Be loyal to the Pastor and leadership of FCOP.
6. Live a Christian life.
7. Attend all workers meetings and workshops.
8. Be faithful to your assigned position.
9. Be faithful to attend regular church services.
10. Give at least three days notice if you know you will be absent.
11. Be at your designated class 10 minutes before starting.
12. Be nice in appearance.
13. Our personal life should reflect a Christian lifestyle and line up with God's word.
14. Complete a worker's training course.
15. Give a thirty day notice when resigning your position.
16. Be a tither according to Malachi 3:8-13

Christians who are in places of responsibility in the church are required to be examples in faith, conduct, and business affairs. Therefore, to work within the Children's Department of FCOP, all potential workers must abide by the following policies and guidelines. We provide the materials, curriculum, facilities, and proper training to equip our staff to successfully accomplish their goals.

1. All those interested in working must complete a Children's Application.
2. Candidates must meet all qualifications for Children's workers as listed here.
3. A criminal history investigation along with a reference check will be completed.
4. A personal interview will be done with the Children's Pastor.
5. At the personal interview, workers will be assigned to a service.

Ministry Opportunities

FCOP is a church that believes in people finding their place of service. The same opportunities that adults have in the main service are available to boys and girls during their services. We encourage you to make a commitment to your children by becoming involved in our Wednesday night program as we endeavor to build the kingdom of God one child at a time.
